The Academic and Citizenship Excellence Award is based on grades and character.
It is open to all Glenn Heights, DeSoto ISD, and Red Oak ISD Scholars.
Scholars must be enrolled in an accredited public, private, charter, or home school to be considered for an A.C.E. Award. They must have an 80 average or better and a good attendance record. Nominated scholars are also respectful of others, follow school rules, and demonstrate good character by being honest, helpful, and dependable.
A.C.E. scholars will be selected every six weeks. The nomination period opens on the Monday following the end of the previous six-week grading period and will be open for two weeks. Eligible scholars can be nominated every six-week grading period.
