Do you know a young Glenn Heights resident ready to step into the shoes of a leader and make a difference in our community? My S.P.A.R.K. Ambassador Program is their opportunity to experience the excitement and responsibility of civic leadership while gaining valuable insight into the workings of local government.
Starting in January 2025, this inclusive program is open to all youth residing in Glenn Heights, TX. It is designed to inspire the next generation of leaders by providing a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the life of an elected official. Through this program, I hope to spark their interest in civic engagement and perhaps even a future run for office!

S.P.A.R.K. will occur during the second City Council Meeting of each month on the following dates: January 21, February 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16.
Please note that City Council Meeting dates may occasionally change to accommodate the Mayor, Council, staff, or city-wide events. If a selected date is changed, parents/guardians of the participating applicants will be notified in advance.
